DNS.tel provides a free subdomain registration service under the dns.tel domain. Users ("Users") can register a subdomain (e.g., myname.dns.tel) and point it to an IP address or hostname of their choosing. This allows Users to utilize a DNS.tel subdomain for various purposes, subject to these Terms.

2. Free Subdomain Registration & Account Creation

Free Service: The core service of registering a subdomain under dns.tel is provided free of charge.
Account Required: To register and manage subdomains, Users may be required to create an account with DNS.tel. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Accuracy of Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
Right to Terminate Accounts: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, particularly if a User violates these Terms (see Section 6).

3. Limited Liability & Disclaimer of Content Responsibility

User-Generated Content: DNS.tel is merely an intermediary providing subdomain registration and DNS resolution services. The content accessible through subdomains registered with us is generated entirely by Users, not by DNS.tel.
No Endorsement: We do not endorse, support, represent or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any content on User-registered subdomains.
IP Address Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for the IP addresses or hostnames to which their subdomains point. DNS.tel is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or legality of those destinations.
No Liability for Content: DNS.tel shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of User-registered subdomains, including but not limited to damages resulting from viruses, malware, inaccurate content, offensive material, or interruptions in service.
Disclaimer of Warranties: The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Users agree to use DNS.tel subdomains in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Specifically, Users shall not use their subdomains for any of the following:

Illegal Activities: Any activity that is unlawful, illegal, or violates any local, state, national, or international law.
Malicious Activity: Spreading malware (viruses, worms, Trojans), phishing, spamming, or engaging in denial-of-service attacks.
Infringing Content: Posting or linking to content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others (copyrights, trademarks, patents).
Hate Speech & Offensive Material: Content that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise offensive.
Misleading Information: Providing false or misleading information.
Circumventing Security Measures: Attempting to bypass or circumvent any security measures implemented by DNS.tel or the destination server of your subdomain's IP address.
High-Risk Activities: Any activity that could expose DNS.tel to legal liability, financial risk, or reputational damage. This includes but is not limited to: cryptocurrency mining, hosting illegal downloads, and running services known for attracting abuse (e.g., open relays).

5. DNS.tel Rights & Limitations

Subdomain Revocation: We reserve the right to revoke any subdomain registration at our discretion, particularly if a User violates these Terms or if we receive complaints about the content accessible through the subdomain.
Modification of Service: We may modify or discontinue the service (or part thereof) at any time without notice.
No Guarantee of Uptime: While we strive to provide reliable service, DNS.tel does not guarantee 100% uptime.
Rate Limiting: We reserve the right to implement rate limiting on subdomain registrations or DNS queries to ensure fair use and prevent abuse.

6. Termination

We may terminate your account and/or access to the Service for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting your subdomain(s).

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of California, USA. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration, mediation, or courts in Los Angeles, California, USA.

8. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DNS.tel regarding your use of the service.
